CAPC 3-State Filter

Because of the difficulties I had with restarting my machine after crashing parts of it, I created the 3-State Filter. This device passes along the input it receives unless it receives no input (the 'X' signal) in which case it outputs zero. These two diagrams show the device and it's usage:

The application I created this device for was the halt line of the Run Flip-Flop. This way even if the halt line coming from the decoder has a bad signal the RunFF still works properly:

The 3-State Filter was constructed from 2 NOT gates, an OR gate and an unknown device. It can be downloaded in LW4 library format from the link at the top of this page. enjoy.
