Scott grew up in North Vancouver on the West Coast of Canada. After high school he moved to rural Ontario for a year, then moved back to Vancouver just before leaving to spend two months traveling in Colombia, South America. For most of his adult life, Scott has worked in restaurants and offices. He has delivered pizzas in Langley, computers in Texas and flimsy research papers in Florida.
